Man, those are creepy eyes. I have to admit, although I have never read the comic, I think Bloodshot looks quite good. However, this trailer, like many others do these days contains some spoilers – unless it is deliberately done to throw you off. Why do they do this? It takes the suspense out of watching a movie and there is plenty to show without giving how an action scene will end in a trailer. Anyway, I don’t make these decisions I only post things here for you to enjoy and have the best experience possible.
On that note, The Digital Theater is pleased to present the International Trailer for Bloodshot, available in 5 configurations. There should be something for everyone. Until a few months ago, Sony would provide stereo dialogue, music and effects tracks which I would use to mix a 5.1 trailer. Most people liked the results, but not everyone. Sadly, Sony no longer provides the split tracks in favor of an “IGTV” stereo version. IGTV is a specially formatted version for Instagram, aimed for idiots who like to film videos with their phone upright. I remember 20 years ago when the transition to widescreen was occurring and Blockbuster had the genius idea of only having pan and scan versions of movies on DVD. Eventually, common sense prevailed and movies on DVD and later Blu-ray were available in their proper aspect ratios. Then a new generation of consumers came of age. These folks had wide screen TVs and monitors in their homes from birth. Somehow, we are now back to pan and scan, only it is now called “IGTV”. This problem was solved! And before you say “OK Boomer” I need to point out that I am not a boomer, I am Gen-X, and in addition to fixing pan and scan, we also fixed the Ozone layer (it is still there) and took on Acid Rain.
That was a bit of a detour. Where was I? Right, no more split tracks from Sony. This forces me to be creative. I got an official 5.1 mix for this trailer but it was not in English. Not only that, there was a lot of dialogue echo that bled into all channels. Because I apparently have nothing better to do, I cut as much of the dialogue from each channel, filled and then mixed with English. It only took a few hours. So the 5.1 mixes of this trailer are labeled as “unofficial” because it is based upon an official 5.1 mix, but there was editing performed to get it to be as close as the official English 5.1 version as possible.

Awesome, thank you!
Man, that’s hilarious! I share your disdain towards the ignorants who shoot video vertically.
The 5.1 mix is really much better than stereo!
Thanks Arni!
