Vin Diesel stopped by today to let us know of a F9 Fan Event and Trailer Drop:

Tonight at 9PM Eastern on NBC. Superstar performers Cardi B, Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth, Ludacris and Ozuna join blockbuster Fast & Furious film series guests Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel and John Cena-as well as director Justin Lin-in Miami for “The Road to F9: Fast & Furious Fan Fest.” Tyrese Gibson and Maria Menounos host the massive super-fan concert event that premieres the all-new trailer for F9 and celebrates the world of Fast & Furious for ride-or-die family across the globe.

Questions and Answers:

Q: Will a high quality version of the epic trailer be available tonight?
A: With the high amount of materials leading up to the trailer drop, I expect so.

Q: Will it be in 5.1 Audio?
A: Probably not. But I will upload an official PCM Stereo version as well as a 5.1 DTS:Neural X Up-Mix.

Q: Will it be available in 4K?
A: Probably not tonight, but likely in a week or so. I have been working on 4K HDR workflows, so if things go well, a 10 Bit, HEVC, 4K, HDR, Rec2020 version may be posted. That is the plan.

Morbius (2020)

As previously mentioned, I was waiting to post the first trailer for Morbius (2020) until I got a better audio mix. Unfortunately, the only true 5.1 I could get was not English, but the big problem was that it was for a different cut of the trailer and was about 70 seconds shorter. Therefore, I went with a DTS:Neural Upmix and for those who do not like upmixes, the official stereo is also provided. Download links are below. Judging by the Spider-Man graffiti in the alley shot it appears that Morbius takes place after Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019).

Birds of Prey (2020)

As promised, here is Trailer F5 for the upcoming Harley Quinn film ‘Birds of Prey’ (2020). This is an unofficial mix, but it is very, very close to the official. Left, Right, LFE and surrounds are from an official non English mix, and have not been changed in any way. The Center channel was edited to remove the non English dialogue. This was then mixed with the English dialogue and any missing background music and effects. The result is near identical but in English. The video source was 25 fps PAL, which I converted to 24 fps to match the source audio. This preserves the audio pitch, which was a problem with the Tenet trailer which I plan to fix.
