Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues with Eternals (2021). The Eternals are ancient beings who have lived secretly on earth for thousands of years. Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019) the eternals are called to action after a tragedy. I wonder why ‘the snap’ wasn’t enough to bring them to the forefront, and would this tragedy be worse than ‘the snap’? Luckily, the trailer offers no clues and hopefully it stays that way. Eternals hit theaters on November 5, 2021 – hot on the heels of the July release of Black Widow and the September release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021).
