A few words from the Legal Department 6

We have drafted terms of use and a privacy policy, and these are available at the following links:

Terms of Use

Privacy Policy

Please take a moment to read them. If you continue to use this site, it indicates that you accept them and that you will be bound to the terms of use. Don’t worry, this is about me protecting my self from anything that may end up on this site that is not of my doing. The principles of this site have not changed. They are:

  • that the Internet should be a free and open source of knowledge and information
  • that the resources contained on this site are intended to promote films, equipment, software, etc in the best quality possible
  • that the resources on this site are owned by the content owners, we are merely providing the same files readily available for use on smart phones and tablets, only optimized for use in a home theater
  • that you are free to comment and criticize, but not harass

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are also there to help you. Personal privacy should be important to everyone, and we will only collect information that you provide so that we can serve you better. For example, we require an email address to post comments. This is to prevent bots and spam being sent to the comments section. The email you provide will not be sold or given to a third party, and we will do our best to keep it secure. But we are also bound by the limitations of our software, service provider, their operating systems, etc. In short, nothing is perfect, but we will not deliberately disclose your information.

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, and we will provide a notice when and if they are updated.

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy will be available on the menu.

We want to hear from you if you have any concerns about the content of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. They are not intended to make the site unusable, so if you are concerned about it, we want to know.

Now that the legal department is happy, we will get onto more interesting things.
