I just love a good Luc Besson movie, but let’s be honest…it can be hit or miss. What I always enjoy is a film that has a kick ass female heroine who could give John Wick a run for his money. Luc Besson films usually make use of a distinct music score, and the first trailer for Anna is no exception. Upmixed using DTS-Neural Surround trailer 1 for Anna has all the things that make a cool trailer. It looks fantastic, it has some really intense action, and the electronic music just pounds away. You can get the first trailer for Anna (2019) here.

The good news – we have the second Avengers Endgame trailer in 4K. The bad news – it is not in the IMAX aspect ratio, but the Scope aspect ratio of 4096×1716. I know that IMAX released the IMAX ratio on YouTube, but I have been unable to get a high quality source. If you have a 4K display, then this version should be an immense upgrade over the 1080p version previously released. As I did with Trailer 1, I switched the titles cards (The Avengers Endgame Logo and Release Date Information at the end) with the 1080p source upscaled to 4K. I did that because the 4K source was not English. The other change related to the audio. Since the source was not English, I multiplexed an adjusted version of the English audio from the 1080p trailer. It was adjusted to play at 24fps to match the 4K video, instead of the 23.978 frame rate of the 1080p version. As mentioned in earlier posts, I did not do a 10 bit HEVC encode because I am unable to encode HEVC at a high bit rate (greater than 10 Mbps) without introducing some playback issues such as jittering. Therefore, I am sticking with the AVC 8 bit encode. I did however, increase the bit rate for this 4K version to 40 Mbps to improve the overall image quality. I am really happy with how it looks, and I think you will too.
We are now less than a month from the release date and my son and I are totally stoked for it. I really appreciate that these trailers for Endgame have not given away too much information and the movie should have a lot of surprises. You can get the 4K trailer 2 at the Avengers: Endgame (2019) page as a .mkv with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 or a .mp4 with AC3 5.1
This one is currently in my home cinema playlist and will be for quite some time…at least until we get the first trailer for Episode IX.

Purchases go to supporting this site – which has many expenses including site hosting, security, and data storage. Your support is greatly appreciated and will help me deliver the files you expect – like the 4K IMAX Avengers Trailers, and the upcoming trailers for Star Wars Episode IX.
Here is the second trailer for Brightburn (2019). I hoped to have this up yesterday, but it took me a little while to get the mix together. In other news I just came back from a screening of Captain Marvel (2019) and it was a really fun movie. There were not many people in the audience, but since it was a 4 PM showing I hope that explains why. Not long until Endgame!
The guys that brought you “Neighbours” and “Knocked Up” are back at it, with the upcoming sexy comedy Long Shot (2019) starring Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen. Long Shot arrives in theaters in May, 2019. Check out Trailer 1 here.
Here is trailer 1 for Angry Birds 2 (2019), which will hit theatres in August. You will notice that the lossless audio is encoded in DTS-HD Master Audio. Going forward it is my intention to drop PCM and DTS and use DTS-HD Master Audio instead. This should solve some other issues like odd channel mapping with PCM tracks in VLC, as well as issues some experienced with the old DTS 1536 kbps tracks. AC3 will still be included as a backup on mkv files.
With regards to HEVC (H.265), I am not going to be uploading any more trailers in H.265 until I can work out some issues I have experienced. I did an HEVC encode of Frozen II which, ironically, would freeze my computer when played and could only be recovered by doing a hard boot. It is my intention to provide HEVC encodes in the future, but it still needs some work.
Here is trailer 1 for Frozen II (2019) is now available. Some really nice low frequencies in those crashing waves! Frozen II hits theatres in November.
