The first green band for Atomic Blonde was released today, and I completed a 5.1 upmix from the PCM stereo source. I think it sounds great. Again, if it is not to your liking the original 2.0 is included in the .mkv file. Head over to the Atomic Blonde page to check it out.

I am still hoping to get the first trailer for The Last Jedi on Thursday. I could be wrong, but I think it will debut at the panel discussion at Star Wars Celebration Orlando. If it is released, I will have it at the Star Wars Episode VIII – The Last Jedi (2017) page.

Trailer 1 for Thor: Ragnarok (2017) is now available, and it looks really cool. I totally dig the music.

Annabelle 2 gets a new name, and it is Annabelle: Creation. I have updated the page accordingly, and included the Trailer 2, which was mixed using individual elements. Annabelle really is a creepy name. It sounds so wholesome and innocent, but when combined with a child devil spirit in a doll….well, that is creepy. Hold the press…Warner just added Wonder Woman Trailer 4, so I will get to work on that now.

I have another fancy stereo up-conversion for you, with Trailer 2 of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Even as an acronym that would be long: VATCOATP. If you prefer the stereo mix, it is included in the .mkv file as the 4th audio track. Trailer 2 can be found at the VATCOATP page.

I think King Arthur: Legend of the Sword looks like it will be a good movie. I liked the look of it from the Comic Con Trailer, and I am looking forward to seeing it. Trailer 4 is likely the last trailer before its release, and you can find it at the King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017) page. This was also lovingly mixed by me from individual elements.

There is no stereo up-conversion here, as Sony provided (as they almost always do) independent stereo tracks for music, dialogue and effects – which I have taken the time to mix just for visitors of this site. I hope you like the nice panning effect as Spidey yells “Cannon ball!” as he swings into the pool. Also, I am not sure what all the fuss was about over this trailer. It didn’t seem to give any more away that most other trailers. But if you have not watched it, and want to remain spoiler free – then you may want to avoid it. While I was pleasantly surprised to find the first trailer for The Mummy to be released with a 5.1 mix, I was equally disappointed to find the second trailer to only have a 2.0 stereo track. If you have been around here a while, you will know that I sometimes do an “Experimental Mix” for trailers that I can only get a stereo source. I have decided to go this route for the second trailer for The Mummy, and I have also decided to stop calling them “Experimental Mixes”. I know that an up-conversion is lame, but I really strive to make it sound as best as possible using a method that I have been working on over the past few years. If you like the result, that is great, if not, I have included the official stereo track as option 4 on the .mkv file.

I am finally able to post the first trailer for Stephen King’s IT, which can be found at the IT (2017) page. I have a backlog to work through over the coming days. This past week was unusually busy, but I think my calendar has cleared. More to come soon.
