And the movie I am most excited about is LOGAN. Both the Red Band and Green Band trailers have been added to the Logan (2017) page. Remember, if you are under 18 please do not download the Red Band trailer.

Do not be alarmed by all the “experimental mixes” – this is not a change in the way things are done. This is just a result of studios like 20th Century Fox and Lionsgate who do not make 5.1 mixes or individual source tracks available. This is not the best option, but unfortunately it is all we have at the moment. Trailer 2 for Power Rangers has been uploaded. Personally, I liked trailer 1 better as it was a bit more artistic. Yeah, I know…it is Power Rangers, but the first one had a really nice rhythm. You can check them both out now at the Power Rangers page.

I have been sitting on the trailer for Alien: Covenant for a few weeks, hoping to get an official 5.1 mix. I am hopeful that it will be available soon, but to hold us over I have uploaded the experimental mix version from the stereo master. I will also be updating the site over the next hour or so with experimental mixes of John Wick 2 – Trailer 2, Logan Trailer 2 (Red and Green Bands), and Power Rangers. The new year is off to a slow start, but I expect things will begin to pick up shortly. I just added Trailer 1 (Storm Is Coming) for Cars 3. This trailer starts off exactly like the teaser, but then offers a bit more from the film. At 90 seconds, I would call this an extended teaser! The Cars 3 page has been updated, so go there to check it out.

Also, the IMAX Pre-Show Trailers Page has been updated to include a 3D SBS version of the familiar countdown pre-show. I am still looking for a way to get more 3D on the site, but so far I have not had any luck. I’ll keep working on it.

Blade Runner 2049 takes place 30 years after the events of the first Blade Runner film. Blade Runner 2049 will be released on October 6, 2017 – which will be here before we know it. The Announcement Trailer has been added to the Blade Runner 2049 page.

Well, I think that is it for at least the next week. I don’t expect anything major to come out in the next few days, but I could be surprised. I will be away for the holidays, so unless it happens tomorrow it will have to wait until after the holidays.

Coming to theaters next summer is Despicable Me 3, which looks to expand upon the highly successful first two installments. Despicable Me 3 should be a fun family film complete with those adorable Minions. Head over to the Despicable Me 3 page to check out the first trailer.

Here we have an experimental mix for War for the Planet of the Apes, the latest in the Planet of the Apes series. You can find trailer 1 at the War for the Planet of the Apes page.

I had expected to see this at my screening of Rogue One, but all we had were Pirates of the Caribbean and Guardians of the Galaxy. Trailer 2 for Dunkirk has really clear visuals, it is going to look fantastic for those who get to see it in 70mm. You can find Trailer 2 at the Dunkirk page.

I will be updating the site over the next few days with Despicable Me 3, Bye Bye Man, and maybe War for the Planet of the Apes. There will be no updates from December 22nd until Dec 27th.

Some have been asking for more 3D trailers, and I may have found a source. If it works out, I hope to have more 3D in 2017.
