Yes, that is right. The 3D version of The Force Awakens Trailer 3 is now available, and can be found over at The Force Awakens page. I compared the sound to the earlier 2D trailers and I did not notice a change in the dynamics, but it is louder. I am not going to modify the 2D versions at this time unless there is an interest in me doing so.
I have a few more trailers to upload before the week is out including Warcraft and the new trailer for 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
The first trailer for Warcraft (2016) drops on Friday. I have set up the Warcraft page, which obviously does not have the trailers yet. It does have a link to the 3158 × 5000 Warcraft One Sheet, which you can see to the Left.
I do expect to have this trailer with multi channel audio, but it likely will not be until after 7pm Eastern on Friday. And I can not guarantee that Universal will provide anything other than a stereo track. They usually provide more, so I am optimistic. To be notified when the trailer is available on the site, complete with 5.1 audio, you can subscribe to the site, or follow us on Facebook
I have been working on my review of Terminator: Genisys and it is taking a lot longer than I expected. I hope to have that finished tomorrow if all goes well.
Sacha Baron Cohen is coming to theaters with the upcoming release of The Brothers Grimsby. The top MI6 spy (not Bond) teams up with his long lost hooligan brother. I have to say, this trailer is really fantastic and I am looking forward to this Cohen film. The .mp4 and .mkv can be found at The Brothers Grimsby page.
WARNING: The RED BAND Trailer contains graphic violence and sexuality. By downloading the RED BAND Trailer you agree that you have read this warning and you are at least 18 years old.
Trailer 2 for Daddy’s Home is now available. It can be found at the Daddy’s Home page. I think I prefer trailer 1, but this has some laughs as well. Daddy’s Home opens December 25th.
I also updated the Spectre page to include the trailers for all the Daniel Craig Bond films in 5.1 audio. If you are having a Bond-a-thon before the release of Spectre you may want to pick those up.
To follow up on the big event from last week, the release of The Force Awakens Trailer 3, it appears that it will not be in theaters again this week. The trailer listing from deluxe includes Joy Trailer E, Don Verdean Trailer 1, and The Night Before Trailer 4 (which we will likely have soon). There is still no sign of The Force Awakens Trailer 3 coming to theaters. I will keep an eye out to see if it is on schedule for next week in time for Spectre. I know a lot of people are hoping to see it in IMAX when they go see Spectre. And that may provide a more dynamic mix for us as well. Here’s hoping.
Finally, a film adapted from a Jane Austen novel that will also appeal to husbands and boyfriends. I would apologize for the gratuitous use of the image above, but I think it captures the tone perfectly: Victorian era garb and setting – plus some weapons to kill (re-kill?) zombies. Anyway, Trailer 1 can be found at the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies page. As usual there is an .mp4 with Dolby 5.1 and an .mkv with PCM 5.1.
I mixed the audio on this trailer from the split audio tracks, which included stereo dialogue, stereo music and stereo effects. It took me about 4 hours to do the mixing and encoding. I hope you enjoy it.

I will be reviewing this film to provide my comments on the 2D picture quality and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack later this week. I really need to upgrade to Atmos…
I have converted the .iso files to 3D SBS .mkv files. Goosebumps is still encoding so it will be uploaded later today when I get home from my day job. The completed ones are Angry Birds, The Finest Hours, The Martian and Teasers 1 and 2 of The Force Awakens.
I will also have 2D files for The Revenant with PCM and AC3 5.1 available later today. The next film to add to the site will be Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I normally hate zombie films – but this one looks quite different. Coming later in the week will be Trailer 2 of Daddy’s Home. I am going to be completing some research and compiling a 4K buying guide to help those who may be thinking about getting a new 4K set this before year end. I will also be reviewing Terminator Genysis and adding other trailers as they are available.
Finally, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who visited and interacted here over the last week. I have received a lot of positive feedback, which is just wonderful to receive. And some critical feedback as well, which has helped me to make improvements to the site. I also saw a lot of people who were quick to help others with technical problems. It was a very rewarding week. Thank you.
For those who prefer the Apple encode of trailer 3 for the video, but my encode for the audio, I have remuxed the Apple encode with the 5.1 PCM audio track. This one has the MPAA rating card and the “tickets now available” tag at the end. The files can be found at The Force Awakens page.
The 3D Side by Side conversion is still on my to-do list. I have not forgotten.
Update: The International Trailer with “December 17” instead of “December 18” at the end has been added. I am not sure if this mix is a theatrical version from Europe, but it is louder than previous files. I will let you decide on which you prefer.
Good news and bad news. The good news is that I have uploaded the trailers for The Force Awakens to mega.nz and provided the download links on The Force Awakens trailers page. There are now two download options for the Lossless and 3D iso files. This should solve the issue some have had with downloads disconnecting. That is the good news. The bad news is that the other trailer file I received sounded exactly as the first, except the dialogue was in French. If there is an interest in the French version please let me know and I can upload it. The other bit of bad news is that I completely ran out of time to do the Side by Side 3D conversions of the first two trailers. I will have to leave that to tomorrow. My wife is going away for the weekend, and demands that I spend some time with her. She has been very patient this evening.
