It has been a few years since Michael Mann has directed a feature film and his latest project is a bio-pic about Enzo Ferrari as he struggles to save his automobile company from bankruptcy. The film stars Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari and Penélope Cruz as his wife Laura. Trailer 1 is available as a 1920×804 HD encode with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, and HEVC and AVC formats. They all can be found at the brand new Ferrari (2023) page. Ahhh, it has that new Ferrari smell.

Let’s get the week off to a good start with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023) trailer 1 in the IMAX aspect ratio with 5.1 sound. There are six encodes in the usual configurations available on that page. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023) will be in theaters in just a little over three weeks – on December 22, 2023. Thankfully from there on, the days will be getting longer as we head closer to spring.
I am not sure what I will be working on next but I will aim to get another trailer up this week.

2024 is fast approaching, and here is the first trailer for a film released in 2024! I have uploaded the 2K version of trailer 1 for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024). As usual, there are a number of options including the mkv files with lossless video and audio, and an mp4 that is compatible with most devices. You can find them all at the link above. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will arrive in theaters on May 24, 2024 in time for Memorial Day weekend.

Gran Turismo (2023) – Gran Turismo is a trademark of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.
Better late than never, I suppose. I recently added trailers 1 and 2 for Gran Turismo (2023). I usually do not post trailers so close to the release date out of fear of being picked up by an algorithm and misidentified as a pirated copy of the film. It happened before. We will see what happens. If the lawyers come after me, I will likely just take it down. So if you are interested in getting these trailers do not wait!
These trailers are both international versions, and have the official 5.1 audio. I did not have any 4K source for these, so they are HD only. I think Gran Turismo (2023) looks like a fun and interesting film. I usually enjoy true stories and I like racing so this is a good combination in my books.
I plan on working on The Creator next, and should have them up in the coming days.
I wonder if those hats will come back into fashion? It is a very distinctive look. I know many of you have been waiting for a 5.1 version of Ridley Scott’s Napoleon (2023), starring Joaquin Phoenix as the legendary French ruler. I think it looks pretty great. The 1080p encodes are available with the official 5.1 audio at the Napoleon (2023) page.
I am finally going to see Oppenheimer (2023) in IMAX tomorrow. I am really looking forward to it. After that I will be away with limited connectivity but I will check in from time to time.
I really wanted to call this post the super fantastic Dune: Part Two (2024) trailer update because it gets a bit confusing. Here is what we have:
I added Trailer 2, which is a shorter version of Trailer 1. It is presented in 4K 3840×1608 with 5.1 audio. It may be considered a teaser for Trailer 1. I also added Trailer 3, which is also a shorter version of Trailer 1, but longer than trailer 2. Trailer 3 is also 4K 3840×1608 with 5.1 audio. Next is trailer 4, which is commonly referred to as trailer 2. This is the second full trailer, and differs from trailers 1, 2 and 3. Finally, I added the domestic online trailer 3, which I am calling the online IMAX trailer 4 as it is a longer version of trailer 4 (full trailer 2) and is in the IMAX 1.90:1 aspect ratio. Unfortunately this is only available with a stereo track at the moment.
I still have trailers 5 and 6, which I think are shorter versions of trailer 4 (full trailer 2) to add. They will be coming shortly. You can head over to the Dune: Part Two (2024) page to get all of these trailers.
Happy Thursday! I am still working on the second trailer for Dune: Part Two (2024) and I am having a slight issue with it. I was going to post them both at the same time, but I thought it would be better to get Trailer 1 out while I did the finishing touches on Trailer 2.
For Trailer 1 we have a widescreen 4K version and a 1080p IMAX version with a 1.90:1 aspect ratio – although I kept the black bars to have a 1920×1080 image size on the IMAX one. Both have the official 5.1 audio. The second one I have a widescreen 4K version with 5.1 audio, but the IMAX version is about 30 seconds longer and only available in stereo at the moment. I will continue to search for a 5.1 mix while I work on the encodes. I should have them up in the next few days.
I was going to put another picture of Jason Statham at the top of this post, but then I thought I have been posting pics of a lot of dudes lately – so let’s mix it up. Yes, the first trailer for The Expendables 4 (2023) has been released, and is now available for download. Breaking a bit from the original formula, this one introduces some “new blood”, which is probably a good idea if you want this franchise to continue on. I don’t have a 4K version but the 1080p looks quite nice – especially those 10 bit encodes.
A lot of you have been asking about Dune 2. Rest assured, those trailers are coming. In fact, I completed the video encodes of Trailer 1 tonight. I will try to get that out tomorrow, but I can’t guarantee it. I have a 4K widescreen version, as well as a 1080p IMAX version. At the moment, I do not yet have a 5.1 mix for trailer 2 – but I expect it soon. I am working on them, and they are on the way.

There is nothing like going to the beach on a nice summer day. The sea breeze, fancy drinks, ladies in bikinis, action, horror and Jason Statham! That’s right, Jason Statham returns as deep sea rescue diver Jonas Taylor in The Meg 2: The Trench (2023), also known as Meg 2: The Trench, the sequel to The Meg (2018). I added the usual 4K encodes with the official 5.1 audio. You can find them all the page for The Meg 2: The Trench (2023).
Last week, I also added trailer 2 for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023) but I did not publicize it due to fears or if being mistaken for an illegal copy of the film being so close to the release date. But if you are looking for it, you can find it at that link. I did not have a 4K source, so it is 1080p only.
I just updated the Oppenheimer (2023)page with the third (and likely final) trailer. Like the first trailer, this one is in the 2.2:1 aspect ratio, but unlike the first trailer it is also available in 4K!
I recently heard that the IMAX window for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One (2023) has been reduced in favor of Oppenheimer, and Tom Cruise is not too pleased. I think it is great that we have film makers who are producing content that is meant to be seen on the biggest screen possible. But it is a shame that they have to compete for the same limited space.
In other news, I hear that Disney has moved out their entire release schedule and added a new Star Wars film. According to Variety, Avatar 5 will not arrive until December 19, 2031. Yeah, you read that right. The next two Avengers films have been pushed out a year having Avengers: The Kang Dynasty set for May 1, 2026 and Avengers: Secret Wars on May 7, 2027.
