Download Trailer 1 for Twisters (2024)

Ok, confession time. I have watched the original Twister (1996) at least 100 times. I know, it is not a great film but it is a lot of fun. And back in the early days of DVD it had a fantastic soundtrack that really showed off what a Dolby® Digital 5.1 home theater could do. It has been a couple of years since I have watched it, and the last time showed some aging problems with the special effects. It really is funny how things that look so amazing and realistic at the time go on to look less realistic. Perhaps I am asking a lot for a movie that is 28 years old! I just had my mind blown realizing that when Twister came out the original Star Wars was only 19 years old. Where does the time go?

I am really excited to see Twisters (2024) as it really looks like it has all the elements I loved in the original. I had heard at one time that the lead character was the daughter of Jo and Bill from Twister (1996), but I am not sure that is entirely true.
