Yes! I now have the 4K UHD IMAX version of trailer 1 for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). It has a few scenes in the IMAX aspect ratio, and also has the official 5.1 mix, which is encoded in DTS-HD Master Audio. There are six encodes available, including a lossless HEVC yuv444 encode and a multi device compatible .mp4 1080p version as well. Make your way to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) page and check them out.
UPDATE August 2, 2022: IMAX versions have been updated to the correct aspect ratio.
Last night Marvel Studios dropped the trailer for their next theatrical film. Yes, we now have the first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). With the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman, director Ryan Coogler stated that T’Challa – played by Boseman, would not be recast. In this trailer, and the image above – we get our first glimpse of the new Black Panther. I expect to get the 5.1 mix later this week. Head on over to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) page to get the new trailer.

Experiencing issues with email. Contact Us form was hacked and disabled yesterday. It is now back, with a CAPTCHA however, the email never makes it to me. So, I need to figure out what is going on there. At the moment, the best option is to follow on facebook and send a message using messenger.
It looks like the first trailer to coincide with San Diego Comic Con International 2022 is Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023). Not much is known about the plot, but it stars Michelle Rodriguez, Chris Pine and Sophia Lillis and arrives on March 3, 2023. Stereo audio only at this time but I am sure we will have a 5.1 version, and maybe 4K too before long. You can get the first trailer at the Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023) page. As a side note, I used to play Dungeons & Dragons when I was a kid. It was great fun and really helped me learn how to read. My mom first worried that I was going to commit suicide, but after she saw the improvement in my reading she wasn’t so worried.

As promised, here are the two trailers for Bullet Train (2022)! From David Leitch – director of Deadpool 2 (2018) comes an action (comedy) about Ladybug (Brad Pitt), an unlucky assassin who finds himself facing off against other assassins on the world’s fastest train – in Japan. Although as I learned from Top Gear, it is not as fast as a Nissan GT-R. It’s Deadpool meets Kill Bill in this summer action film arriving in theaters on August 5.
Trailers 1 and 2 contain the official 5.1 tracks and are there are a variety of video encodes. You can download them at the Bullet Train (2022) page.
San Diego Comic Con
Tomorrow is the kick off for San Diego Comic Con 2022. Back when this site launched on July 22, 2015 (two days until the 7 year anniversary), one of the first trailers I uploaded was the Comic Con trailer for Batman vs. Superman. Those were good times. If you are interested, You can find it at the Justice League (2017) page. So, will we get a Comic Con trailer for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom? What about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? Or Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)? I will be keeping an eye out, and will upload what I can find. Just don’t expect it to be instant. It takes a lot of time to do the transcoding, encoding, uploading and posting. But I am sure by the time the weekend is out we will have at least one cool new trailer.

I am still having problems with email forwarding. So, if you use the Contact Us function, I don’t actually get it in my email – but it does show up in the admin portion of the site – so it just makes it harder to get back to people in a timely fashion. And if you do not provide a valid email, I can’t reply.

Who would like to have the 4K version of trailer 1 for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One (2023) with the official 5.1 audio track? Well, if you do you are in luck as I just updated the Dead Reckoning page with six new encodes! They range from 3840×1634 yuv444 10 bit to 1920×816 yuv420 8 bit. I….reckon you will find one to suit your needs.
I will probably get to work on Bullet Train next, unless something else pops up – I am expecting Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will land any day now. I just checked – it did not.
First I want to take a moment to thank those who have taken the time to write me to express their appreciation for the work that goes into this site. I really appreciate it. Thank you!
I almost posted the first trailer for Black Adam, but then I got a better source. So I reencoded them and was about to post when I got an even better source. Finally it is ready. Trailer 1 for Black Adam (2022) is available as a 4K (3840×1600) with yuv444 10 bit HEVC video. It looks very nice. I also did other 10 bit 4K encodes, including a 4K AVC version. The 1080p is from the same source, but only the 8 bit AVC options are available with the lower resolution. This should be enough variety to be compatible with most play back devices. Audio is DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 or AC3 5.1. You can find them all at the Black Adam (2022) page.
Hello everyone. I have been having some technical issues. First, I am not receiving emails for people who post comments that need to be approved, nor am I receiving emails for those who use the contact me form. So if you have sent me something and I have not yet responded, I want to let you know that I will. Second, there seems to have been a problem with wetransfer, where the links were dead. This seems to have resolved on its own, and I did not receive any notification from wetransfer as to an outage and I did not receive the feedback or comments saying so due to the first issue. Happily, I have checked all the links that people were having issues with and they are working normally now. I will try to figure out why I am not getting my emails.
On to the real topic of this post, the official 5.1 mix and lossless 444 encode of the 2K theatrical version of the second trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). I think that says it all. Oh, there are the regular encodes as well, five in total. You can get them from the link above or by clicking on the picture of “Thor the space Viking”, although he doesn’t look like a Viking there, more like some bad ass male model. All of the first trailers for Love and Thunder are also available at that link. Enjoy!
I am still on the look out for the 5.1 mix of Dead Reckoning. And yes, I will be posting the trailer for Black Adam. I am going to do those encodes now.
A few updates today. Let’s start with the first trailer for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One (2023) which is the 7th film in the Mission: Impossible franchise, and the first of films from 2023 to be featured at thedigitaltheater.com. I don’t know anything about the plot, other than Ethan must chose a side. I really liked all the Mission: Impossible films, especially since the third one.
On the technical side, I have a variety of encodes from the ProRes 422 HQ master. The HEVC 422 10 bit is the best representation. Sadly, only the stereo audio is available at the moment. I am quite sure that I will eventually get the 5.1 mix – maybe next week.
Up next is the second trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). This one may offer some more spoilers, including the baddie, so if you want to keep spoiler free, stay away. If you want more Thor action you can get the second trailer at the Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) page. I also put the encodes for Trailer 1 on this page as well, so they are all in one handy place. Like Dead Reckoning, only stereo is available at the moment and the HEVC 422 10 bit is the best representation of the master.
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
I received some new encodes from the 3D 4K IMAX version. There is no 3D way to play the 4K IMAX trailer at home. So they created a 2D 4K version and a 3D 1080p .iso file. The 3D IMAX will have the same aspect ratio as the “Flat” version, only it has the IMAX logos at the end. You can get those at the Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) page. Thank you JP for the encodes!
Grab your 3D glasses! Over the years, this site has featured a number of 3D trailers, but I have not uploaded a 3D trailer since 2016 when the hardware side of the 3D home market stopped releasing new products. A lot of people have been asking for 3D content, so I am pleased to be able to provide the first trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) in 3D with both Flat (1920×1036) and Scope (1920×804) aspect ratios.
There are three file formats. First, an image file (.iso) which you can burn to a blu-ray disc and play on a blu-ray player (not all blu-ray players will play all burned blu-ray discs). You may also mount the .iso file and play it using compatible software. If the iso file is not your thing, there are full resolution 3840×1080 and half resolution 1920×1080 3D side by side versions available too. All have 5.1 audio.
We now have our first glimpse of the sequel to Avatar (2009) and it doesn’t disappoint. More a teaser than a trailer, it is almost completely music except for a few words of dialogue. It looks like life on Pandora has been good to Jake and the scenery of Pandora is absolutely stunning. I am pleased to be able to provide the official 5.1 mix as well.
Someone also sent me, anonymously, the IMAX 4K version. I have remuxed it to include the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 audio track, but the video is their encode. It looks great!
