Trailer 2 for Pete’s Dragon is available at the Pete’s Dragon page as a .mkv with FLAC 5.1 or an .mp4 with AC3 5.1 aduio. This is a great trailer for home theater especially on a really big screen.

Yesterday I uploaded Trailer 1 for Don’t Breathe, however the posts to Twitter and Facebook were not automatically generated.

As reported last week, Trailer 2 for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is due for release on Friday. I hope to have it on Friday as well.

New Rogue One Trailer on the way. Trailer 2 drops on July 15th.

Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 is in London from July 15th to 17th and it is widely expected that a new trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be shown to fans attending the event.

Making Star Wars has found that a 3 minute trailer for Rogue One will air on ABC from 8 PM – 9:01 PM EST during the special “Secrets of the Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey.

I will have the trailer on the site as soon as I can, and Disney is usually pretty good at including the PCM 5.1 tracks in their press kits. However, at 3 minutes this is not a theatrical trailer so there is no guarantee what we will have in terms of audio. Either way, I will add it to the site as soon as I can.

I have been reading that there is some concern over the quality of the film, a large number of re-shoots, and perhaps a change in tone of the film to be more family friendly than a “war film” as described by director Gareth Edwards. I thought that the first trailer looked fantastic, so I hope the new one keeps that same level of tone and intensity.

In the meanwhile, you can get the 5.1 version of Trailer 1 at the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story page, including 3D and Lossless Audio versions.

Star Trek Beyond (2016) Trailer 3 – 1080p HD FLAC 7.1 and AC3 5.1

Trailer 3 for Star Trek Beyond is now available as a .mp4 with AC3 5.1 audio, or an .mkv with lossless FLAC 7.1 and AC3 5.1. This is my second trailer to feature 7.1 and I hope you enjoy the result. This is not the official mix, it was mixed by me using the individual dialogue, music and effects tracks. I find that playback of the FLAC track using my Onkyo TX-NR747 175-Watt 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver  to be a bit lower in volume than the AC3 track, and I am not sure why. I never noticed a difference in volume levels with my Denon receiver, so I hesitate to modify anything in the audio track. It may be a setting on the Onkyo or in MPC-HC, which I have been using for playback lately instead of Plex. I need to look into it. Trailer 3 can be found at the Star Trek Beyond page.

I also want to take a moment to recognize the recent death of Anton Yelchin, who played Checkov in the Star Trek reboot, including Star Trek Beyond. He was perfect in the role, and at just 27 he is a talent lost all too soon.
