Captain America: Civil War (2016) Trailer 1 – 3D SBS FLAC / AC3 5.1

The Hateful Eight (2015) Trailer 2 1080p AC3 and FLAC 5.1
Trailer 2 for The Hateful Eight, the eighth and final film from Quentin Tarantino has been added to the site. I really love how this looks in the ultra-wide panavision format, and at first I thought this was wasted on this film, since so much appears to be shot inside, with the feeling that outside panoramic shots benefiting the most. But watching the trailers, it does open up the interior shots and gives them a real sense of being there. I would love to see this projected in 70mm, but there are no screenings near me.

Batman vs. Superman Dawn of Justice (2016) Trailer 2 – 1080p AC3/PCM 5.1
Trailer 2, or it could be Trailer 3 if you count the Comic Con trailer as trailer 2 is now available. Sorry for the delay, I did not plan on a power outage. But the power is back on and all is well! You can find the mkv and mp4 files at the Batman vs. Superman page.

The latest trailer for Batman vs. Superman has been released by Warner Bros. I will need to do some work on it, and I will be uploading it later today. In the Heart of the Sea (2015) Trailer 4 FLAC and AC3 5.1
Trailer 4 of In the Heart of the Sea has been uploaded with 2 versions available. A lossless FLAC and the usual AC3 5.1. The film is set to be released on December 11. You can get these at the In the Heart of the Sea page.
I should be able to get Trailer 2 for The Hateful Eight uploaded tomorrow, and new 3D content will be coming soon. I also have some IMAX trailers that some kind visitors (René and David) sent my way, but I have yet to really dig into them so those are still on the to-do list.

Zootopia (2016) Trailer 1 AC3 and PCM 5.1 – and other news
It seems like a long time since I had a new trailer to post, and a lot has happened. The first trailer for Zootopia has been added with an .mp4 featuring AC3 5.1 audio, and an .mkv with lossless PCM 5.1. I remember looking at the teaser, and not being overly interested in this movie, however, this trailer is hilarious. Very well done. They can be found at the Zootopia page.
I am also patiently waiting for Captain America: Civil War to be made available. The distributor released a French 5.1 earlier today, but the English folder still has “0 assets”. I will have it up as soon as I can.

Site Update – Please Read
Hello,
Thank you for visiting this site. I launched this site back in July (the 4 month anniversary is today!) and I have received a response that exceeded my expectations. There are people who come to this site whom I now communicate with on a near daily basis. People come here from all over the world to share their love of film, technology, audio, etc. I have learned a lot over the past four months and I am sure the next 4 months will be just as exciting.
Background
I want to give you a bit of information as to where things stand in terms of the current infrastructure. Thedigitaltheater.com is currently on a shared hosting platform that has a 20GB storage allocation, and unlimited bandwidth (the amount of data visitors can download). That 20GB allocation is 97% full. The 20GB consists primarily of .mp4 files with AC3 audio. When I started this site, that was my focus since one of my frustrations was being able to obtain trailers or demo files that would play on the PS3. I am do not want to move away from that. (more…)
The Huntsman Winter’s War (2016) Trailer 1 1080p AC3 and PCM 5.1
The Huntsman Winter’s War looks absolutely fantastic. I love the style and the music used in the trailer is very effective. As usual there is an .mp4 with AC3 5.1 and an .mkv with PCM 5.1 audio. You may notice that the file sizes are smaller than normal, I will explain why shortly.

Zoolander 2 (2016) Trailer 2 1080p HD AC3 and PCM 5.1
Trailer 2 (technically Trailer 1 since the first was a teaser) of Zoolander 2 has been released. I mixed this from the split stereo and split mono master tracks. There is a Dolby AC3 5.1 .mp4 version as well as a lossless PCM 5.1 .mkv version. This looks like a great sequel and will be coming to theaters in February.
