Concussion
Will Smith stars in ‘Concussion’, the true story of Dr. Bennet Omalu, the forensic neuropathologist who made the first discovery of CTE, a football-related brain trauma. ‘Concussion’ also stars Alec Baldwin and Luke Wilson. Concussion opens Christmas Day.

Just a quick update to let you know that the Dolby Trailers page has been updated to include 12 MKV files with Dolby TrueHD Lossless audio. Also, five of these Dolby trailers have Dolby ATMOS audio. If you have the equipment to play them, check them out!
Plex Home Theater
Plex Media Server and Plex Home Theater
Last night, I installed Plex Media Server (PMS) and Plex Home Theater (PHT) on my dedicated home theater PC. In the simplest of terms, the PMS turns your PC into a media server that you can access on your home network using a variety of devices with
the corresponding Plex application for those devices. In my case, since I was using a dedicated PC connected to my receiver I installed the Plex Home Theater app on my PC.
What are the benefits of using Plex over a media player?
First and foremost, it allows for the full output of Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master Audio. Oh, and it is free, which is always a great thing in my books. You can however, purchase a “Plex Pass” which will give you some additional features, such as sharing and automatic inclusion of theatrical trailers before movies. I am opting to not have a Plex Pass at this time, so I cannot comment on those features. (more…)
dts HD Master Audio
When I uploaded the dts trailer “Animated Logo” the audio was Dolby AC3. This has been bothering me ever since, and I have held off on uploading more dts trailers because I felt that the audio on a dts trailer should be encode in dts, not Dolby, or AAC. This poses a couple of challenges – specifically getting a dts stream on an .MP4 for playback via the PS3. But then I realized that the PS3 can not play dts files accessed from the XMB (stored on USB or the hard disc). I don’t have a PS4, or an XBOX ONE but my research tells me that those platforms don’t support dts in that manner either. So the idea of getting a dts track on a .MP4 really is a useless endeavor. Unfortunately, it ate up a couple days of my life (off and on) trying to do it – with varying levels of success. In the end I was able to do it but the file would only play using MPC-HC (Media Player Classic – Home Cinema) and it had some issues.
As time went on, my PC connected to my receiver via HDMI has become my go-to media solution. The PS3 was great, but it has limits in compatibility. If something doesn’t play in one app on the PC, you can find a driver, codec, or another app that will allow it to play. With this in mind, I have updated the dts trailers page with a selection of 8 dts trailers that have dts audio. They are available in lossless DTS HD Master Audio 5.1. Two trailers have DTS HD High Resolution Audio and are 7.1. And for compatibility purposes for those who can not decode the HD Master Audio files, they are all available with the standard DTS 5.1 1,536 Kbps 48 kHz audio track.
This brings up a good question, and I pose it to you. What format do you want the trailers on this site to be in? MKV, MP4, or something else? Is there a desire to have trailers encoded in dts vs Dolby. Are people interested in FLAC? I want this site to be of value to those who use it. I will likely continue to post files as .MP4 with Dolby for comparability purposes, but if you have a preference please let me know using the Contact Us link in the menu, or in the comments section below. If there is a demand, I will look into it.
13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi
John Krasinski, Pablo Schreiber and Toby Stephens star in ’13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi’, directed by Michael Bay. Based on the 2013 book ’13 Hours’ by Mitchell Zuckoff. 13 Hours is the true story of the elite six member security team who fought to defend the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, after the attack by Islamist militants on September 11, 2012, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks. 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi is scheduled for release on January 15, 2016. The Walk
Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ben Kingsley star in ‘The Walk’, directed by Robert Zemeckis. The Walk tells the true story of French high wire artist Philippe Petit (Levitt) who attempts a death defying tightrope walk from the north and south towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. Everest
We just added the IMAX extended trailer for Everest in 1080p with Dolby 5.1 Audio. This movie looks very impressive, with a star studded cast and excellent visuals. This trailer along with Trailer A can be found on the Everest trailers page.
Bridge of Spies
The latest film from Steven Spielberg, Bridge of Spies is a Cold War drama starring Tom Hanks. Trailer 1 can be downloaded from the Bridge of Spies trailer page.
Batman v Superman – Dawn of Justice

The Batman Vs Superman – Dawn of Justice trailers page has been updated to include the Comic Con trailer in 1080p, Dolby AC3 5.1.
I have uploaded four new trailers. The Teaser for The Transporter Refueled, The second international trailer for Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, The Last Witch Hunter Trailer 1, and Everest Trailer A. These are all in 1080p HD with Dolby AC3 5.1 audio.
