As promised, today I have the IMAX® version of the first trailer for Dune: Part Three (2026), the third and final film in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune saga, following Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024).This version contains scenes in both the 1.90:1 and 2.22:1 aspect ratios. It is also available in 4K (3840×2024 in a 3840×2160 container) with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Dune: Part Three is set for release on December 18, 2026. More to come!

Here’s hoping for the 1.43:1 version of the trailer. I know there’s some funkiness going on with de-squeezing the aspect ratio on that DCP, and I can’t speak for everybody else, but honestly I personally wouldn’t mind whatever visual anomalies that may incur.
