  1. Is there any chance you could upload the unprocessed trailer file? Not the side-by-side version, but the ISO version.
I have one more question: Michael Bay once shared the 4K trailer for Transformers. I have that file with me, and it was 11GB. Do all unprocessed trailers (not re-encoded) usually have this kind of size and quality?

    1. The source was not an ISO, it was a 48 fps MXF that has alternating left and right frames (24 each per second). It isn’t playable like the Transformers 4K was. As for file size, both the left and right files that I extracted from the MXF were both over 13 GB. I used ProRes, which usually results in a large file size. The Transformers 4K was ProRes as well. The 4K 3D IMAX MXF file size is only 2.3 GB at a bit rate of 118127 kb/s. Interestingly the 2K 3D MXF is 3.6 GB at 204539 kb/s.

    1. Yes, I can add it at. I only have a 1080p version. I am curious as to why you feel 16:9 IMAX is a gimmick? The 1.85:1 IMAX has 26% more image information than 2.40:1. The regular version is cropped compared to the IMAX version.

      1. Ya the regular version is cropped, cinema looks better in 2.39:1, while 16:9 gives it a TV show feeling.
Everyone’s happy with the 16:9 IMAX trailer as if it’s something spectacular, the 2009 Avatar movie was released in same ratio, except it was not labelled as IMAX. That’s why I said it’s a marketing gimmick.

  2. Hi! I’m looking for source files (masters) of DCP trailers, specifically for upcoming titles like Avatar 3, Tron Ares, and other possible Disney/other studios projects. If you have access to them, I’d really appreciate it.
Also, if you ever need help with DCP decoding or 3D processing, I can assist.

  3. I’m confused by the “IMAX 3D Full SBS Trailer 1 3840×2076” file. VLC reports that the file is in fact 3840×1038, which would suggest half the vertical resolution that you state. Additionally, the video looks quite squished horizontally due to incorrect aspect ratio.

Is there something I’m doing wrong on my end?

  4. Could you please upload 1920* 804 HEVC codec file of this trailer.. it seems AVC codec is not playing in my TV. I have been trying to play this trailer by connecting the laptop using network sharing mode and installed KODI app in my android TV. It should support 1920 * 1080 in my TV. However Somehow it is not supporting..
