First I want to take a moment to thank those who have taken the time to write me to express their appreciation for the work that goes into this site. I really appreciate it. Thank you!
I almost posted the first trailer for Black Adam, but then I got a better source. So I reencoded them and was about to post when I got an even better source. Finally it is ready. Trailer 1 for Black Adam (2022) is available as a 4K (3840×1600) with yuv444 10 bit HEVC video. It looks very nice. I also did other 10 bit 4K encodes, including a 4K AVC version. The 1080p is from the same source, but only the 8 bit AVC options are available with the lower resolution. This should be enough variety to be compatible with most play back devices. Audio is DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 or AC3 5.1. You can find them all at the Black Adam (2022) page.
Hello everyone. I have been having some technical issues. First, I am not receiving emails for people who post comments that need to be approved, nor am I receiving emails for those who use the contact me form. So if you have sent me something and I have not yet responded, I want to let you know that I will. Second, there seems to have been a problem with wetransfer, where the links were dead. This seems to have resolved on its own, and I did not receive any notification from wetransfer as to an outage and I did not receive the feedback or comments saying so due to the first issue. Happily, I have checked all the links that people were having issues with and they are working normally now. I will try to figure out why I am not getting my emails.
On to the real topic of this post, the official 5.1 mix and lossless 444 encode of the 2K theatrical version of the second trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). I think that says it all. Oh, there are the regular encodes as well, five in total. You can get them from the link above or by clicking on the picture of “Thor the space Viking”, although he doesn’t look like a Viking there, more like some bad ass male model. All of the first trailers for Love and Thunder are also available at that link. Enjoy!
I am still on the look out for the 5.1 mix of Dead Reckoning. And yes, I will be posting the trailer for Black Adam. I am going to do those encodes now.
A few updates today. Let’s start with the first trailer for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One (2023) which is the 7th film in the Mission: Impossible franchise, and the first of films from 2023 to be featured at thedigitaltheater.com. I don’t know anything about the plot, other than Ethan must chose a side. I really liked all the Mission: Impossible films, especially since the third one.
On the technical side, I have a variety of encodes from the ProRes 422 HQ master. The HEVC 422 10 bit is the best representation. Sadly, only the stereo audio is available at the moment. I am quite sure that I will eventually get the 5.1 mix – maybe next week.
Up next is the second trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). This one may offer some more spoilers, including the baddie, so if you want to keep spoiler free, stay away. If you want more Thor action you can get the second trailer at the Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) page. I also put the encodes for Trailer 1 on this page as well, so they are all in one handy place. Like Dead Reckoning, only stereo is available at the moment and the HEVC 422 10 bit is the best representation of the master.
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
I received some new encodes from the 3D 4K IMAX version. There is no 3D way to play the 4K IMAX trailer at home. So they created a 2D 4K version and a 3D 1080p .iso file. The 3D IMAX will have the same aspect ratio as the “Flat” version, only it has the IMAX logos at the end. You can get those at the Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) page. Thank you JP for the encodes!
Grab your 3D glasses! Over the years, this site has featured a number of 3D trailers, but I have not uploaded a 3D trailer since 2016 when the hardware side of the 3D home market stopped releasing new products. A lot of people have been asking for 3D content, so I am pleased to be able to provide the first trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) in 3D with both Flat (1920×1036) and Scope (1920×804) aspect ratios.
There are three file formats. First, an image file (.iso) which you can burn to a blu-ray disc and play on a blu-ray player (not all blu-ray players will play all burned blu-ray discs). You may also mount the .iso file and play it using compatible software. If the iso file is not your thing, there are full resolution 3840×1080 and half resolution 1920×1080 3D side by side versions available too. All have 5.1 audio.
We now have our first glimpse of the sequel to Avatar (2009) and it doesn’t disappoint. More a teaser than a trailer, it is almost completely music except for a few words of dialogue. It looks like life on Pandora has been good to Jake and the scenery of Pandora is absolutely stunning. I am pleased to be able to provide the official 5.1 mix as well.
Someone also sent me, anonymously, the IMAX 4K version. I have remuxed it to include the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 audio track, but the video is their encode. It looks great!
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) Trailer 1 is set to drop at any moment.
I have received the first trailer for the first sequel to James Cameron’s Avatar (2009) – Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). Encodes are complete and it is ready to post. But it has not officially dropped yet and it is expected to be included with the theatrical release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) which happens tonight. Hopefully, I can hit the publish button in the next 24 hours. Oh, it has an official 5.1 mix as well!
To be notified the instant I have it posted, you can subscribe to the email list (I only send emails when new content is posted, or on special occasions such as this), or you can follow on Facebook and/or Twitter.
What do you hope to see in the trailer? Let everyone know in the comments!
I am changing things around here at thedigitaltheater.com. When the site launched in 2015 I had a page for every film, and the front page of the site – where you are now – didn’t contain the download links. In 2019, I was working with an advertising third party who was somewhat affiliated with Google and they were concerned that having a post like this, and a page for the film trailers constituted duplicate content and since the film page didn’t have my quality writing didn’t serve value add to visitors. It didn’t matter that it would take hours to do all encoding and editing and having content that was not really available anywhere else. So I stopped making the film pages and went with a post.
However, I am no longer working with said third party and I am going back to the original format. This is far better for visitors to the site as they are able to find all the files for each film in one place.
I have finally completed all the trailers for Jurassic World: Dominion (2022). I had some issues on the 422 encode of the first trailer and I had to do several encodes, but it is ok now. If it glitches, please let me know.
I am fairly excited for this one. It is great having the original experts back in the action. Last weekend I watched the original Jurassic Park (1993), and it the first time in many years. I know I have had my 108 inch screen since 2016, and this was the largest this film has been since I saw it in the theater in 1993. I plan to run through the other four before hitting the theatre in June to catch the finale. I have always been a big fan of The Lost World (1997).
You can download the trailers at the Jurassic World: Dominion (2022) page. There are also some other encodes in the User Uploads.
Official 5.1 mix and YUV444 encode of Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) Trailer 1 is now available to download. I am still on the lookout for an IMAX or 4K master but I have not found one yet. There is quite a difference in the sound effects present in the 5.1 mix versus the official stereo mix that I posted last week. One of the most obvious is the cruise ship horns at the 1:02 mark. Check it out.

The cinematic rollout of the MCU Phase 4 continues this July, with Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). I was holding out on posting for a couple of days in the hope of getting a 4K version, but this is the best I have at the moment. I did three encodes, with one preserving the 422 chroma and bit depth of the master, plus the normal AVC encodes. Audio is stereo, but I expect to get a 5.1 mix in the coming days. Enjoy!

The third, and likely final trailer for Top Gun: Maverick (2022) dropped a couple of weeks ago. I finally found a 4K source with an official 5.1 mix, and it sounds great. Especially if you like the sound of planes flying around your living room from all directions. After being delayed for two years, it is being exclusively released to theatres on May 27, 2022. I think this will be worth the trip to the IMAX.
If you are looking for some of the earlier trailers you can find them here:
