It seems like a long time since there has been new cinematic trailers for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and things are starting to roll once again. With Black Widow (2021) finally being released in July the fall is set up for three more Marvel Studios releases: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), The Eternals (2021) in November and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) due in December. The first trailer for Shang-Chi dropped yesterday, and you can enjoy it in your home cinema with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. The links are below.

The new action packed trailer for F9 is now available for download. The original trailer which I posted back on Feb 2, 2020 was intense, and I am shocked that this one seems to have even more action. And as I wrote last year, if you want to be spoiler free then this is not the trailer for you, because it has many. I wonder if there are any surprises left? The next Suicide Squad movie is due this summer. The Suicide Squad features Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker and a collection of cons who, along with Task Force X are dropped off at an enemy controlled island. The Suicide Squad (2021) was directed by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) and hits theatres and HBO Max on August 6, 2021. Download the 4K 60FPS Godzilla vs. Kong Trailer! A visitor to the site sent me this 4K 60 FPS encode of the Godzilla vs. Kong Trailer. It appears that the audio is the 5.1 upmix from the version that Bear Laser Trailers uploaded here. The video is in the VP9 format. It is less than a week to go until Godzilla vs. Kong arrives in theatres, IMAX and HBO Max. I checked my local listings, and it is only playing as a private screening for $200. That is actually not a bad price for a private screening when you think about it. I still have not decided how I will see it.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021) Sizzle Reel dropped last week at Disney Investors Day. The Bad Batch is a spin off from the animated Clone Wars series created by Dave Filoni. In The Bad Batch, a group of elite clones known as the Bad Batch, who have a genetic variance from their other brothers in the Clone Army giving each a unique skill. Set in the aftermath of the Clone War, the Bad Batch take on daring missions as they find their way in the transition to the Galactic Empire. Season one arrives on Disney+ in 2021. Star Wars: Andor (2022) Disney+ Sizzle Reel dropped at Disney Investors Day last week. The Disney+ series is a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) that tells the story of Cassian Andor during the early days of the rebellion. It will be interesting to see which other characters they will be able to expand upon from Rogue One. According to reports, Mon Mothma and K-2S0 will be appearing in the series as well. Disney had its Investor Day last week, where they announced a number of new projects coming to Disney+ as well as theaters. One that we knew was headed for Disney+ for a while is The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Here is the exclusive first look for The Falcon and The Winder Soldier which arrives on Disney+ March 19, 2021.
An online trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 dropped a couple days ago. As you probably heard, Wonder Woman 1984 will be released in theatres, IMAX, and HBO Max on the same day. I am not sure how I feel about this. I think overall, that it is being presented in theatres given the current circumstances is a good sign for a future commitment to theatres. And really, movies are best in the cinema. I am in Canada, and we don’t have HBO Max here so our only option is to see it in theatres, and since we only have a handful of COVID-19 cases it is relatively safe to do so. If you can see it in an IMAX it will be beneficial to do so as some sequences were shot with IMAX cameras. Warner Bros. is going to release all their 2021 releases under this model. So, let’s hope that theatres are still around in 2022, because if they are not, we will likely suffer a huge decrease in quality going forward. Anyway, my encodes are available at the link below. And sorry, no 5.1 mixes are available since it is an online and not a theatrical trailer. See, that is what I mean about a decrease in quality going forward.
