Downloaded PCM 5.1 and then extract each channel and made a new track in DTS-HD MA 5.1
Why is it so difficult to download? It stops mid download, I always have to retry the download?
I am getting a lot more traffic than usual. I am working on the issue.
Trailer 3 is at 25fps instead of 23.976fps or 24fps? This is causing duplicate frames and stuttering.
Hi Josh, what are you using to playback the file?
Media Player Classic and VLC Media Player. The Codec info states that it is 25fps instead of 23.976 or 24.
Trailers 1 & 2 are either 24fps or 23.976fps and do not stutter. This problem is only with Trailer 3 (and The Hateful Eight as well).
I could play all of those with VLC, Plex, MPC-HC and Gom Player. I would recommend trying Gom Player. I am also wondering if it is related to a video card. Gom Player would play things that VLC would not, I found.
That looks like it was my fault. The frame rate was set to 25 when I did the transcode for the mkv file. The mp4 has 23.976.

Can you download other files, such as a smaller one on the Dolby page? What kind of internet connection do you have?

How are you encoding the video? I downloaded the DTS-HD MA 5.1 version, and while your video bitrate is higher, your video is noticeably softer than the 1080p version I downloaded from Apple movie trailers. If only I could have a sharp image and 5.1 audio!
I did not do the encoding on the DTS-HD MA 5.1, but I did do the encoding on the PCM 5.1 version. How does that compare to the Apple encode?
I was referring to the video only – the apple encode is a lot sharper image than the versions you have uploaded here.
To clarify – all the versions here seem to be the same video-wise.
I just remuxed the apple encode with 5.1 PCM audio. No transcoding, so it is the same as the apple version, except with 5.1 audio. Uploading now.

Same here about resolution cant play too high needs to be 1920 x 1080 please on force awakens trailer 3 3d oh and mockingjay part 2 3d bit too high cant play either on my amp sorry all other 3d ones work lol

My bluray player is not able to play a 3840×1080 file. 1920×1080 SBS would be ok, but resolution is reduced, so if an ISO-file is there, that would be great! Thanks

Every time I try to download any of the trailer 3 links for star wars the force awakens, I get perfect picture but no sound. Please fix this issue in some way.
The international trailer is just the standard trailer from October, not the new one that was released yesterday.
Thanks for posting these, especially the 3D versions! I can play the SBS version easily on my display, but can only seem to play the 2D version off the burned iso on PS3/PS4. Is there some setting I’m missing to enable the 3D version to trigger? Any other 3D disc plays flawlessly.
Hi Bob. I have no idea why those iso files will not playback in 3D while others will. I actually don’t have a 3D display so I can not do any trouble shooting in that department. I am hoping that some other users who have played back the iso files will be able to help out.

Just checked out the SBS of Trailer 3. Would it be possible to get a reencode of them? Neither version is encoded with the right and left side “squished” so the resulting image is displayed as stretched out. SBS for trailers 1 and 2 are great, though!
Hi Bob, I just re-encoded a HALF SBS from the Full SBS that is now nicely squished. It is listed on the page as Trailer 3 3D HALF SBS 1920×804.

Is there a full 3D MVC MKV version of the main trailer with lossless audio as well?
Is there a HSBS version of the main trailer with Lossless audio? The FSBS version doesn’t playback nicely on all players. Yes, it’s losing video resolution, but for the moment that’s the way things have to be.
Both option for the international would be pretty sweet as well.
Hi Dave, I just re-encoded the Half SBS trailer so that it should play back nicely for those who have problems playing the Full SBS. It is labeled as Trailer 3 3D HALF SBS 1920×804. I am hopeful that we will get an iso before too long.

I would say the chances of that are slim. However, it is Star Wars, so there is always hope.

I have the ABC TV spot, but it is only 2 channel audio. I will upload it later today, after I do a high quality transcode. Since I can’t deliver on the audio, I will focus on the video…the source is 200 Mbps
any chance of getting a 4k 2D file? Is the existing 4k trailer native 4k or upscaled?
