The King’s Man (2020) takes place before the previous films, Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) and Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017). Matthew Vaughn returns to direct this third, though out of sequence installment. I really enjoyed the first two and I am really looking forward to seeing this one. I think the benefit here is that it can potentially expand the scope to allow for future films. I believe there are at least two more planned, so bring ’em on.
