Download Trailer 1 for Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire (2024)

The latest theatrical release in the ‘MonsterVerse’ will arrive in March 2024 with Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire (2024). I have added the 4K IMAX tagged trailer in a variety of encodes. Although this is the IMAX trailer, it is not in the IMAX aspect ratio. According to the technical specs at IMDB some of the scenes will be 1.43:1 when shown in IMAX with Laser, and 1.90:1 when in standard IMAX theaters. I do not know why they opted to make the trailer in 2.39:1. Warner seems to do that sometimes, for instance The Batman (2022) had an IMAX trailer without the IMAX aspect ratio footage, but on the other hand, they released Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023) with the 1.90:1 aspect ratio. At least the Godzilla X Kong trailer is 4K.
