Download Trailer 1 for Tron: Ares (2025)
A quick update today to let you know that the first trailer for Tron: Ares (2025) has been added to the site. This version is in HD, but I do have an IMAX 4K version that I will process and upload next. You can find the first trailer and any future trailers at the Tron: Ares (2025) page.
UPDATE
The 4K IMAX version is up now. I thought it had the expanded aspect ratio, but it is the same 2.39:1 as the 4K, just with the ‘Filmed For IMAX’ tag at the end.

Hey Jonathan, I think the gamma of this trailer is a little off – the blacks/shadows look more crushed than other versions I’ve seen online. Is there something in your processing pipeline that would change the look?
Yes, potentially. With the release of Davinci Resolve 20 they added the Apple ProRes codec, which removed the need for me to export DNxHR and then use Adobe Media Encoder to create the ProRes which the H265 and H264 are encoded from. I will take a look at that.
Hi Beau. I have confirmed that my changed workflow is the culprit, and I have reverted back to the old way of doing things. I guess there are no shortcuts. The good news is that Avatar: Fire and Ash will look as it should when I post it on Monday. I also reencoded The Running Man, and will be posting that today. Thanks for pointing out the problem.
