I just published the The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (2026) trailer page containing 4K and HD versions of Trailer 1 with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. The aspect ratio is 1.85:1. and I also have a HD 1.90:1 version that I plan to upload when I have a chance to do so.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (2026) is the sixth film in the Hunger Games franchise and the second prequel following ‘The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes’ (2023). The film is based upon the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins, and is set 24 years before the original 2008 ‘The Hunger Games’ story.

The story focuses on young Haymitch Abernathy (played by Joseph Zada, who does look like a young Woody Harrelson; but with curly hair) competing in the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell, which is a special edition of the Hunger Games with double the number of tributes. That brings double the deaths. It is directed by Francis Lawrence who also directed ‘Catching Fire’, both ‘Mockingjay’ films, and ‘The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes’. Ralph Fiennes also stars as a younger President Coriolanus Snow.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (2026) will be in theaters on November 20, 2026.

Download Trailer 1 for Lee Cronin’s The Mummy (2026)

It is Thursday and we are getting closer to the weekend! Today I have the first trailer for Lee Cronin’s The Mummy (2026). Now, there have been a lot of films called ‘The Mummy’ over the years. Going back almost 100 years ago, there was the 1932 film starring Boris Karloff. In 1959 there was ‘The Mummy’ starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. In more recent times we had the Universal franchise with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in the early 2000’s, and Tom Cruise starred in the 2017 film ‘The Mummy’. Which brings us to Lee Cronin’s The Mummy.

Unlike recent the Brendan Fraser films or the 2017 reboot, which were more action-adventure, this version is a standalone horror film with a darker tone and supernatural elements focusing on psychological and demonic horror. Written and directed by Lee Cronin (Evil Dead Rise) the film is about a journalist whose young daughter disappears in the desert. Eight years later she returns. But what should have been a relief turns into a nightmare as they have to deal with what came back with her. I’m thinking some sort of ancient Egyptian demon.

Download Trailer 1 for Undertone (2026)

Today I have the first trailer for Undertone (2026) – a Canadian horror film which uses immersive sound design to create tension and fear, instead of relying on visuals.

And the sound design is really interesting and must be heard in multi-channel audio – stereo would not do it justice at all. This track has amazing channel separation and creative layering. The unnerving noises, creepy distorted music and voices really does enhance the eeriness of the trailer.

The story centers on Evy, a host of a paranormal podcast who is caring for her dying mother. She receives a series of mysterious and disturbing audio recordings from a couple claiming their house is haunted. Listening to these recordings draws Evy deeper into psychological terror, blurring the line between reality and madness.

Download Trailer 4 for Avengers: Doomsday (2026)

Today I have the fourth and I believe final teaser for Avengers: Doomsday (2026) which features Wakandans and Ben from The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025). I expect that we will have a full trailer for Doomsday around the Super Bowl, which is February 8, 2026 – about three and a half weeks from now.

This trailer, along with the pervious three is available in 4K with PCM stereo audio.

Download Trailer 1 for They Will Kill You (2026)

Today I have three trailers for the upcoming horror film They Will Kill You (2026) which is due in theaters on March 27.

The first two are available in 4K with 5.1 audio and are fairly similar. The third is a slightly longer Red Band trailer that has much more blood and Zazie Beetz’s nipples are more pronounced through her dress in a couple of shots. But it is mostly more blood. The Red Band version is available in HD with stereo audio only. You can find all of these at the They Will Kill You (2026) page.

2025 in review

Well, 2025 was an interesting year at The Digital Theater. One of the most notable things is that I learned how to process 3D trailers – which I have provided quite a few in the second half of the year. In fact, a third of the films that I promoted this year had at least one 3D trailer.

In terms of content, I promoted 32 films with almost 300 encodes of various trailers. According to WeTransfer, in terms of usage I am in the top .01% of their accounts – with a total of 94 TB of downloads in 2025.

While the amount of content is roughly twice the amount of the average year and page views are consistent with 2024, this site operated at a slight loss for the first time. Ad revenue was down 17% and expenses (web hosting, WeTransfer, licenses) were up 20%. A bad combination that needs to change.

Download Teasers for Avengers: Doomsday (2026)

Welcome to 2026!

This year is shaping up to have some big movies being released, and I have provided trailers for many of them already. Today I have some teaser trailers for what will most likely be the biggest movie of the year: Avengers: Doomsday (2026)

So far, four teasers have been released and are playing with Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025) in theaters. The first featured Steve Rogers, the second (which I saw when I went to see Fire and Ash) featured Thor, and the third features the X-Men. I believe the one currently playing with Fire and Ash is Wakandans and Fantastic Four but it has not been released online yet. I have the first three in 10 bit 4K UHD but sadly the audio is only stereo. To make up for that I have the lossless PCM track as well as an AC3 Stereo track on the mkv files.
